To manage growth in its U.S. subsidiary, Milestone Systems Inc., Beaverton, Ore., announced the hiring of four new managers. Mark Wilson was hired as channel marketing manager handling channel activities and events in the Americas. Tim Palmquist joined as territory manager for the central region of the U.S. Manuel Nylen joined as territory manger for the eastern region of the U.S. Also as territory manager will be Lawrence De Guzman, who transferred from Milestone headquarters in Copenhagen to the U.S. De Guzman will handle the western region in the U.S. For more information, visit www.milestonesys.com.

Raptis

McCallum

The company also hired Joe McCallum as an application engineer. McCallum will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications and distributing quotations, as well as demonstrating products, educating dealers on the Symmetry product portfolio and providing exceptional customer service. Brunner

HID Global, Irvine, Calif., a manufacturer in the access control industry, announced that Dani Brunner accepted the newly created position of western regional manager for the AccessID subsidiary of HID Global. Holland

Secura Key, Chatsworth, Calif., named Bob Holland as marketing manager.  Holland will oversee Secura Key’s marketing and product management programs, and brings with him 24 years of industry experience in product management. Beardsley

Griswold

TOA Electronics Inc., South San Francisco, Calif., promoted Apryl Griswold to national sales manager - security products division. Griswold will manage TOA’s national sales rep force and will be responsible for setting the strategy necessary to achieve the sales goals assigned to the security products division. Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), Springfield, Mo., a manufacturer of alarm control panels, hired Michelle Medina as director of market development, retail solutions, Western United States. Universal Protection Service, Santa Ana, Calif., a security guard firm and provider of fire/life safety and electronic security, hired Rick Ward to rejoin the company as general manager.

Sullivan

David Sullivan was named president of Fargo Electronics, Minneapolis. Fargo is a part of HID Global, Irvine, Calif. In his new position, Sullivan will be responsible for setting the strategy and development of business objectives for Fargo Electronics, a provider of secure technologies for identity card issuance systems.

In addition, Steve Blake was appointed head of the product marketing area overseeing printer/encoders, software, systems, professional services and customer knowledge.

Alan Fontanella now leads Fargo’s product marketing for secure materials, system peripherals and enhancements, and accessories products.
