Wireless Elevator Kit

The ECK400 Elevator Kit from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies’ Schlage brand eliminates costly installation of traveling cable in elevator shafts. The kit works in tandem with any access control system to provide up to 1,000 ft. of clear line-of-site elevator access control to eliminate the problems and costs of traveling cable. According to Karen Keating of Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, elevator shafts are harsh electrical environments and are often the source of data corrupting noise that become induced onto card reader data lines. The ECK400 Kit includes the panel interface module (PIM), wireless reader interface, antenna and 12 VDC transformer.
