360-Deg. Panomorph Lens Measures Less Than 6 mm
ImmerVision developed the ImmerVision Enables panomorph lens with 182 by 360 deg. field-of-view. The lens measures less than 6 mm. Demand for panomorph lenses and distortion-free viewing is increasing in the security industry, according to the company. In fall 2012, a super-megapixel, board-mount, panomorph lens will be used in next-generation ImmerVision Enables certified mini domes. In addition, the company is currently designing a panomorph lens even smaller than 6 mm.
