At last month’s ASIS 2012, Salient Systems Corp., Austin, Texas, unveiled CompleteView Cloud, a hosted video surveillance service powered by Dell OEM Solutions’ Dell Cloud with VMware vCloud Datacenter Service at the platform level.

CompleteView Cloud is designed to provide a secure, cloud-based solution to host customer video and provide a simple interface for users to access the complete solution. The solution is also designed to simplify video surveillance deployment and integration while delivering a flexible solution for growth and expansion and allow companies to take advantage of a high-quality solution while controlling costs.

Using video surveillance-as-a-service (VSaaS) technology, CompleteView integrates Axis Communications’ One-Click Camera Connection to stream video from IP cameras and encoders over the Internet to the Dell Cloud, which provides a seamless, multi-tenant environment for running virtual systems. The accessibility and flexibility of cloud-based services makes video available anywhere and at any time via any Internet-connected device.
