Alarm Tech Solutions LLC (ATS), a specialist in fire alarm, emergency communications and fire suppression systems throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia, has announced it has acquired SPC Inc.

The acquisition of SPC brings incredible synergies to ATS, including additional engineered systems distributorships, increased presence in the fire extinguisher and fire sprinkler business, expanded experience in government contracts, experience in nurse call, access control and security systems, as well as extensive monitoring, testing and service accounts.

Alarm Tech Solutions LLC was established in 1996 and this acquisition will result in a workforce expansion of almost 50 percent, the company revealed. ATS will maintain its Severn, Md., headquarters and its full-service office in Springfield, Va., as well as the acquired SPC facility in Jessup, Md. With the acquisition, SPC becomes a division of ATS, combining the management and staffing teams of both companies. With over 34 years in business, former SPC owner Paul Curry joins ATS as an account manager, focusing on building key sales relationships.
