The Systems Depot recently announced the New Helix Platform from Resolution Products is ready to ship.

Helix can be installed anywhere in a home, providing a more discreet, secure and cost-effective installation, the company described, adding that Helix provides security and automation with breakthrough performance.

It is the first professional security panel designed from the start to deliver interactive security and home automation services from the mobile device your customers have already selected, according to an announcement from the companies. The Helix architecture knocks down costly hurdles dealers face when installing a security system, they described. Unlike a hybrid panel, dealers don’t need to pull wires for peripheral devices or other sensors. Helix also eliminates the need to compete for entrance wall space near a power outlet. It can be installed in an office, entertainment center or even a closet.

Anthony DeHart, vicepresident of sales and marketing, stated, “Resolution Products’ new Helix Platform is revolutionary and provides our dealers an alternative to other connected home service providers at potentially lower costs and higher profits. This creates many new opportunities including the ability to reduce account creation costs. The Helix Platform brings it beyond a line-item list of components allowing rapid installs, with no repeaters and lower cost translators. These among other items impact the account creation costs. They are also able to leverage the Ethernet for reporting — you don’t need cellular on each system, which greatly reduces entry level costs and allows for upselling cellular.”

“Resolution is excited to have The Systems Depot helping drive adoption of this innovative new platform,” said Dave Mayne, vice president of marketing at Resolution Products. “The Systems Depot is recognized for delivering leading-edge solutions to professional security dealers. Their endorsement of the revolutionary Helix platform is another example of The Systems Depot remaining on the cutting edge of the industry.”

The Systems Depot said it is currently building a new state-of-the-art national technical sales center in Hickory, N.C., as well as completely redesigning its e-commerce site at
