Unexpected Loss of Frank DeFina Mourned by Industry
Frank DeFina, senior director, strategic sales, Hikvision USA Inc., has died unexpectedly over the weekend. SDM offers its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of DeFina, a man who contributed a great deal to the industry.
Soon Hong Ahn, president, Samsung Techwin America where DeFina formerly worked, said in a press release, “The Samsung Techwin America family greatly mourns the loss of Frank DeFina – an icon in the professional security industry who exhibited the rare combination of innovation, leadership and friendship to the scores of people whose lives he touched over the years. Frank will be dearly missed."
