ADS Security (ADS), a regional electronic security and automation company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., has acquired customer accounts from Bridgecom Inc. of Vidalia, Ga. The purchase adds approximately 2,000 accounts to the ADS Georgia customer base, growing the market to approximately 10,000 accounts. It also establishes the third branch office for ADS in southeast Georgia, including existing offices in Augusta and Savannah.

“We have been serving customers in Georgia for over 20 years, so we’re proud to be experiencing growth in a state that is part of our legacy,” said ADS President and CEO, John Cerasuolo. “We extend a warm welcome to Bridgecom employees and customers into the ADS family.”

The purchase of Bridgecom follows the ADS acquisition of South Carolina and Tennessee companies earlier this year and brings the total number of acquired accounts in 2015 to approximately 6,000. In 2014, ADS acquired five security companies across the Southeast totaling approximately 6,400 accounts.

Bridgecom customers will have access to the ADS advanced suite of residential and commercial security and automation services, including mobile management, smart home technologies, video surveillance and access control solutions; proprietary UL-listed, CSAA Five Diamond monitoring center located in Nashville, Tenn.; and My ADS customer portal with simple online account management.

The purchased accounts will continue to be serviced out of the Bridgecom Lyons location at 143 E. Liberty Avenue, a new branch office for ADS Security. Bridgecom owner, Bill O’Neal, and his team will be joining ADS.
