Convert Speco IP Cameras To Wi-Fi

Speco Technologies released the newest addition to the Speco Connect family of Wi-Fi solutions, the WIFIMOD, which effectively transforms any Speco IP camera to Wi-Fi, adding complete flexibility to installations. Measuring only 1.3 in. wide, 0.8 in. high, 3.3 in. long, and featuring both dual band Wi-Fi and PoE for providing power to the camera it’s connected to, this compact accessory is the perfect solution for the IP camera installation that is difficult for cables to reach. If the camera needs to be connected to another Wi-Fi router or access point, the user can easily modify settings through the app without having to log into the camera with a PC. When recording to Speco NVRs or hybrid units, the WIFIMOD and the IP camera it is connected to, can be used in conjunction with Speco’s Wi-Fi access point, the APRPT, allowing the camera to connect to the recorder without affecting the existing local network bandwidth.
