SecurityTronix announced the availability of HD-BOSS HDoC CCTV test monitor with meter functions. The expanded HD-BOSS is based on the best-selling SecurityTronix IP BUDDY+ series, and now supports HD-SDI in addition to HD-TVI, HD-CVI, and analog AHD. In addition, the HD-BOSS provides network cable testing functions and serves as a multi-function electrical test meter. The HD BOSS tester is a marriage of hardware, software, and an array of accessories to help fully realize the capabilities of the unit, the company described. The meter can power a 12VDC camera, so the necessary jumper cable is included. It also monitors audio, coax video, and operates RS485 PTZ devices, so test jumpers for those functions also are included.
