AMAG Technology’s version 9 release of Symmetry access control software comes with a new platform method for simpler installation and upgrades. The new installation method installs over the previous installation, eliminating the need to uninstall the earlier version. Once installed, future upgrades will be conducted automatically by the new installation mechanism. Database integrity will remain intact and the installation process will repair any inconsistencies, ensuring a smooth upgrade process. All access cards can be set to a specific anti-passback zone to enforce access control policies.
