IDIS Focuses on Partner- and End User-Driven Innovation at ISC West
IDIS returned to ISC West in Las Vegas for the company’s first U.S. tradeshow appearance following the conclusion of the company’s year-long 20th Anniversary celebration, “Two Decades of Innovation,” with plans to highlight the IDIS technological offerings set to define the start of its next 20 years of innovation.
The company focused on the IDIS Total Solution, an end-to-end solution for any surveillance need of any size. From HDTVI to H.265 — including IDIS’s complete 4K Total Solution — IDIS offers solutions from image capture, through recording and display — and every camera, recorder, encoder, monitor and more is designed, developed and manufactured in-house at IDIS facilities in South Korea.
The IDIS Total Solution is its most comprehensive yet, the company described, with an expanded 4K Total Solution and the HDMI encoder (which allows for greater situational awareness and improved business intelligence gathering). IDIS also featured a complete lineup of H.265 IPC/NVR products — including the enhanced IDIS 12MP super fisheye camera, powerful IDIS DR-8364 NVR, (featuring 900Mbps throughput, redundant power, IDIS smart failover technologies, and IDIS Intelligent Codec H.265/H.264 performance. Each builds upon the company’s flagship DirectIP end-to-end IP surveillance platform, popular for its true plug-and-play (self-installing and self-configuring) industry-leading ease of use, and all delivered with IDIS Center, the company’s full-featured VMS, at no charge (for licensing or updates).
The company also featured IDIS SmartPhone Cam, which helps end-users take the security and power of IDIS surveillance everywhere they go, and new privacy masking, which enables thorough documentation of incidents and preservation of video evidence while effortlessly protecting those incidentally recorded in the process. IDIS will also highlight the latest developments with the IDIS Deep Learning Engine, which offers nimble monitoring of people, cars and bicycles, and alerts for object detection, loitering and intrusion — all adapted to fit a 16:9 ratio and with performance that outpaces all published academia on the subject.
