The goal of Caledonia, Ontario, Canada’s MontHill Golf and Country Club is to become one of the premier clubs in the region. Its 27-hole golf course has some of the nicest manicured greens in the area. With three different nine-hole courses, golfers have the opportunity to mix and match their plays in order to enjoy a unique experience with every visit. This state-of-the-art facility opened their golfing season with a sports bar, steakhouse, indoor golf simulators, and up to four banquet halls; thus, making it a year-round functioning club.

The club needed a security system to provide peace of mind for the club’s owners, staff, and its patrons during the day or night, year-round, and in and around the large clubhouse and surrounding areas.

Since the property is so large and requires both inside and outside monitoring of the perimeter, installing a security system that could work within the complexity of the installation while withstanding the harsh Canadian winter, typical of the province of Ontario, was most ideal.

Integrator True Vision Security Solutionz chose VIVOTEK and a total of 74 of its indoor and outdoor security solutions to monitor MontHill Golf and Country Club. In the end, the outcome not only met, but surpassed their expectations and goals.

For indoor monitoring, True Vision Security Solutionz installed 30 of VIVOTEK’s fixed dome network cameras. Dynamic and highly adaptable, the FD8369A-V features a removable IR- cut filter as well as IR illuminators effective up to 30 meters for superior image quality around the clock.

For outdoors, 34 VIVOTEK outdoor-ready IR fixed dome cameras were installed. For the parking lot, five of VIVOTEK’s multi-adjustable cameras provide high resolution images through four independent sensors, with each sensor utilizing a remote focus lens.

Also being utilized are an indoor 360-deg. fisheye fixed dome network camera to cover the pro shop, an outdoor-ready 360 degree H.265 fisheye fixed dome network camera for the balcony, and three dual sensor designed 8MP panoramic network cameras for surveillance of the valet parking.

All devices were managed by VIVOTEK’s video management software, VAST2.
