The NFPA Conference & Expo, the premier fire, electrical and life safety event, is calling for proposals for its Vegas event on June 22–25, 2021.

With the cancelation of the 2020 Conference & Expo due to the impact of COVID-19, the NFPA is looking forward to making the 2021 Conference & Expo even greater. In 2021 NFPA celebrates its 125th anniversary.

The NFPA is evaluating options that will allow them to provide the best possible educational experience for stakeholders while adhering to all appropriate guidelines intended to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all. Select sessions may be pre-recorded, delivered virtually or repeated several times to limited audiences.

The organization is particularly interested in proposals that address the following topics:

  • Fire & life safety ecosystem
  • Business continuity and resiliency
  • Code compliance
  • Building life cycle
  • Preparedness and emergency response
  • Active shooter and hostile events
  • Emerging issues
  • Investment in safety and skilled workforce
  • Data

The review and selection committee will evaluate all proposals based on factors such as topic relevance, value offered to attendees and the submitter’s experience and credentials. Preference will be given to proposals that promise to deliver content that benefits attendees through incorporation of one or more of the following elements:

  • Interactivity
  • Case studies
  • Panel discussion format
  • Facilitated discussion
  • Skill or experience range

Applications must be received by Monday, Sept. 14, 2020 at 5 p.m. EDT. Find more details here.
