SDM’s former Associate Editor Courtney Wolfe has been promoted to managing editor, effective immediately. SDM also welcomed a new staff editor on Sept. 1, Amanda Reed. These staff changes follow the move of SDM’s former Managing Editor Maggie Shein to chief editor of its sister publication, Security Magazine.

As SDM Managing Editor, Wolfe will write exclusive cover stories, such as SDM’s State of the Market series, as well as other feature-length articles. She will be in charge of the magazine’s case study department, Technology at Work, as well as the Technology Solutions & Skills department, and also manage the annual Monitoring Today and Video Monitoring Today supplements.

Reed will take over the news department and be the primary contact for industry news releases and content, as well as posting to social media.
