The Ninth Annual CSAA International Central Station Excellence Awards, co-sponsored by SDM and the Central Station Alarm Association, were presented at an awards breakfast during ESX held in Nashville, Tenn., in late June

 Honeywell added Summit Security Systems to its First Alert Professional dealer program. Summit Security customizes security systems that include local and hosted intrusion, access control and video verification technologies for homes and small businesses in Raleigh, N.C.

The acquisition of Amsafe Security Systems gives ASG the opportunity to add more infrastructure and create more internal sales in the Florida market, Ralph Masino, CFO of ASG Security, told SDM. Amsafe Security Systems’ customer base is approximately 50/50 business and residential.

Protectron will continue to be headquartered in Montreal under ADT’s ownership. The company enjoys strong brand awareness and ADT will continue using the Protectron name.
