Granite School District in the Salt Lake City area, one of the largest school districts in the United States, has selected the Salient Systems’ CompleteView Video Management Platform to deploy in more than 130 schools, administrative offices and other facilities.

The open video data platform will help the school district manage its security and surveillance operations.

Over the next several months, Granite School District will connect more than 5,000 cameras to CompleteView to provide a district-wide picture of security operations, with the help of its systems integrator partner, Utah Yamas Controls, based in Draper, Utah. The system will help protect 60,000 students and 7,500 staff members.

With deep experience and expertise with Salient and its offerings, Utah Yamas recommended CompleteView to meet the district’s need for a robust platform that was intuitive to use, easy to deploy, and could scale to meet Granite School’s current and future camera requirements.
