International Fiber Systems Inc. (IFS) announces the VT1500WDM Ultrak video transmitter and data receiver. The VT1500WDM is designed for use in the Ultrak dome camera system, providing a fully integrated solution. This unit mounts directly into the dome’s power supply enclosure, replacing the traditional power, data and coaxial cable connection within the dome housing. The VT1500WDM Ultrak changes the camera output from a standard coaxial connection dome to a direct-to-fiber connection. The IFS VT1500WDM Ultrak allows for the simultaneous transmission of video and one-way control data over one multimode optical fiber.
