Nuvico, Englewood, N.J., is the first member of the PerseusPartner program to release an integrated solution. The PerseusPartner program provides the technical and business framework to enable DVR manufacturers to extend their systems beyond the control room to cell phones and other handheld devices.

Perseus Wireless and Nuvico showcased their partnership at the recent ASIS International event in Dallas by demonstrating the PerseusPhone controlling a Nuvico DVR for camera selection, alarm notification and video display.

"This frees security professionals from their desks,” noted John Kwak, vice president of sales and marketing for Nuvico. "They can now have alarm events e-mailed directly to their cell phones and within seconds respond to the alarm event.”
