Bosch to Sell Integrated Security Solutions Through Anixter, TRI-ED & ScanSource

Bosch
October 1, 2016

Bosch Security Systems Inc. will make its B Series Intrusion Control Panels and peripherals available to more customers in the U.S. through distribution agreements with Anixter; TRI-ED, an Anixter company; and ScanSource Inc. Previously accessible only to customers who purchase directly from Bosch, the intrusion control panels are now open to all security dealers and integrators through Anixter, at TRI-ED’s more than 56 U.S. branch locations, and through ScanSource, a global provider of technology products and solutions.

“Local and online availability of our B Series Intrusion Control Panels and peripherals enables Bosch customers to purchase our products in the way that is most convenient for them, making it even easier to meet timelines for fast-turnaround projects,” said Brian Wiser, president of sales – North America, Bosch Security Systems Inc. “It also brings solutions for commercial intrusion, video, access, home automation and residential fire to new security dealers and reseller partners who require innovative, integrated security solutions for their customers.”

B Series are flexible systems that fit a range of facility configurations — from retail stores and banks to schools, office buildings, homes, and more. In addition to commercial intrusion and residential fire detection, B Series panels offer access control, Bosch IP camera and Z-Wave Smart Home device integration, and remote command and control with free apps.

“Anixter provides complete security solutions to our customers when, where and how they need them,” said Pat Comunale, president – global security solutions at Anixter. “We are pleased that Bosch has enhanced their channel to market for this solution. Introducing the Bosch B Series products into our Tri-Ed branches enables dealers to offer a broader solution to their customers.”

Christie Hamberis, senior vice president, ScanSource Networking and Security, added, “ScanSource has had a strong relationship with Bosch for several years, and this agreement deepens our physical security line card with B Series control panels and peripherals that enable our reseller partners to deliver fully integrated systems to their customers.”

Educational sessions at TRI-ED branches and Web seminars available through ScanSource will provide customers with information on the B Series Intrusion Control Panels. Bosch will also support customers with video tutorials for installation assistance as well as online training courses — all available on a dedicated mobile-friendly webpage for easy access.
