COPS monitoring reported: It is with a heavy heart and tremendous sadness that we report the sudden passing of Ernie Gambone on Thursday, October 27, 2016.

Gambone began his career in the security industry in 1973 with Robinson Alarm Company, a provider of alarm systems in the Philadelphia area. In 1998 Ernie started Sera Security, which he ran for more than 13 years, attributing its success to what he liked to call “good old-fashioned service.” Ernie joined the COPS team in 2015 and was very active on the NJESA Board.

Gambone will be profoundly missed, but his friendly disposition and positive attitude leaves us with extraordinary inspiration on which to draw. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ernie’s family as we express our deepest sympathy in their time of sorrow.
