A few weeks from now, Feb. 12-15, electronic security and life safety professionals from across the country will gather at the Riverfront in Savannah, Ga., to link, learn and lead at the annual Leadership Summit, ESA’s executive-level conference.

This event is designed by and for the industry to deliver education, networking and real-world business advice to its leaders in C-Suite and executive management roles throughout the nation. The Summit gives access to insights from outside the industry, provides a forum for peer discussions and helps innovators apply proven principles to grow their companies.

“Everybody here just seems like they want to help each other. This event is really about relationships — about making connections,” said Christopher Nobling, general manager at Security Force Inc.

Event registrees have already started planning one-on-one meetings with their peers and event sponsors using an online meeting platform. This year, a new Attendee Meetup Zone will provide an area to quickly find meeting partners, and will be reserved exclusively for peer meetings. One-on-one meetings with suppliers will allow attendees to ask specific questions about process, dig into the logistics of training salespeople for new products and learn how to best implement new technologies.

Guests will also experience impactful presentations and educational sessions from speakers with backgrounds in coaching for multi-million dollar sales consultancies, marketing and business disruption, cyber security, effective hiring processes and leadership.

The carefully selected topics for the educational program are intended to prepare industry leaders for the coming year. Sessions will include “Cyber Security Trends for 2018 – How Business Leaders Need to Take Charge,” sponsored by NAPCO Security Technologies, “UnMarketing,” sponsored by Honeywell and “Five Productivity Hacks,” sponsored by Axis Communications and Telguard. View the complete schedule and session sponsors here.

Fun is also a part of the week’s events; attendees will enjoy great music and a meal catered by Paula Dean at Savannah Smiles Dueling Pianos during the Diamond Event, a time for executives to network in a more relaxed atmosphere, sponsored by Interlogix.

Leaders who wish to invest in themselves and their organizations will find many opportunities to do so in like-minded company at ESA’s Leadership Summit. Being away from the office can often be difficult for passionate leaders, but after the Summit’s three days of inspirational content, idea sharing and leadership training, attendees will return to leading their day-to-day operations equipped with new ideas and techniques that will help grow their businesses.
