Code Blue Corporation renewed its partnership with the Clery Center as a sponsor for Jeanne Clery Act Training events and during National Campus Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM).

The Clery Center regularly hosts Clery Act training around the country, providing its members with exclusive services, expertise, resources and customized campus assessments. Additionally, the Clery Center partners with colleges, universities, and other organizations each September for NCSAM to offer free, high-quality programming, educational tools and resources that promote a community approach to campus safety.

“The Clery Center’s ability to expand awareness and support for their programs year after year is invaluable,” said Katie Petre, Code Blue director of experience. “Clery Act training sessions and educational initiatives, like National Campus Safety Awareness Month, provide important resources to campus communities who are looking to improve safety and security, which has been Code Blue’s
mission since day one.”

The Clery Act is a federal law that aims to provide transparency around college and university campus crime policy and statistics. NCSAM was unanimously approved by Congress in 2008 to encourage a public conversation on important topics in violence prevention at our nation’s colleges and universities.

The Clery Center is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on promoting college and university campus safety through education, awareness, policy and prevention initiatives. The Clery Center was the first non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of criminal violence at colleges and universities nationwide.

“Clery Center is thrilled to have the support and partnership of Code Blue to enhance the experience of our training. We share a commitment to creating safer campuses through a collaborative approach. We appreciate working with Code Blue as an ally in prioritizing the safety of our communities,” said Alison Kiss, Clery Center executive director.
