The purchases added 6,000 customers, bringing Select Security’s rapidly growing total number of customers to more than 80,000. 

Included in the purchases were:

• Tennessee Valley Protection, Huntsville, Ala.
• Southern Security Services, Nashville, Tenn.
• Interactive Alarms, Nashville, Tenn.
• Security Consultants, Memphis, Tenn.
• Alert Alarm Systems, Paducah, Ky.
