The PowerHouse Alliance 12 distributor members released the March schedule of dealer trainings and events, including a home automation and security focus, a new warehouse location and annual expo.

Member CED starts the month off on March 1 with a Vanco Lunch & Learn, inviting attendees to learn about Vanco’s Evolution EVO-IP system and the latest in HDMI over IP technology at its New Berlin, Wis. location. CED also brings training sessions in for new PowerHouse Alliance vendor TechLogix, with a morning and an afternoon session on March 7 in New Berlin, and LG training on March 26. LG training continues in Northbrook, Ill. on March 27.

Throughout the month, dealers can take trainings for home security and automation from several members: 21st Century is co-hosting Alarm.com training along with Kwikset and LiftMaster on March 5 at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Buford, Ga.; Ui Supplies is offering dealers URC MX HomePro training and counter days on March 12 in Plainview, N.Y. and March 13 in Clifton, N.J.; the newest PowerHouse Alliance member, KOA CCTV, also brings URC MX HomePro training from March 19 to 21 at Sylmar, Calif., Anaheim, Calif. and Las Vegas, Nev. locations; and that week, member Sierra Select hosts Lutron RA2 and RTI training days with lunch included on March 20 in Oakland, Calif. and March 21 in North Highlands, Calif.

On March 19, member MRI hosts its annual Mobile Expo at the Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center bringing new products and demonstrations, training and education, high-margin opportunities, a new show vehicle on display, plus raffles and giveaways. MRI debuts its newest location in Norwalk, Conn., an 8,500 square-foot space offering warehouse-style shopping, express checkout and a state-of-the-art training room with an open house event on March 26, featuring demos on streaming music systems, short-throw projection, touch screen controls, TVs and video walls, networking and distributed IP solutions, security and surveillance and commercial audio distribution and control products. 

Also on March 26, member Ui Supplies has a Sonnen Energy Sales training at its Plainview, N.Y. location, where attendees can learn about energy automation with Sonnen’s new residential energy storage system, ecoLinx, that integrates with leading front-end home automation systems and controllable circuit breakers. Dealers in Clifton, N.J. can stop by the Ui Supplies Sonos Amp Listening Event on March 28.
