Per Mar Security Services Announces Chris Edwards as New President of Electronic Security
Per Mar Security Services, a provider of total security solutions for residential and commercial clients based in Davenport, Iowa, announced the hire of Chris Edwards as president of Electronic Security. Edwards brings a passion for developing people to Per Mar. He will be responsible for all aspects of the Electronic Security division, including sales, operations, marketing, the monitoring center, customer care, and data entry.

Per Mar Security is ranked No. 25 on the SDM 100, based on $2.2 million recurring monthly revenue at year-end 2017 and 38,000 subscribers.
Edwards held a variety of executive management positions in a variety of industries prior to joining Per Mar, including most recently serving as president of Gazette Communications in the media and marketing industry. He has an extensive background in the technology space, also holding management positions in sales and marketing for companies in the wireline, wireless and data communication spaces.

Edwards received his bachelor of arts degree from Drake University and has served on a number of local and national industry boards, as well as being an active volunteer with non-profits in Cedar Rapids. He is married to his wife Lisa, and their children Grace and Jackson are in high school.
