TMA Extends Deadline for Industry-Wide Wage and Salary Survey
The deadline for The Monitoring Association’s (TMA) Wage and Salary Survey has been extended to Feb. 28. Companies from across the security industry are invited to participate in this year’s survey — from security dealers and systems integrators to monitoring centers. There is no fee for participation. The data collected will be compiled and analyzed by TRG Associates with final results being published and available for sale in aggregate form.
TMA membership is not a requirement for participation. All interested companies are encouraged to take part in the survey. TMA members will receive preferred pricing on the purchase of the final survey report, but all participating companies will receive a discount on the final report.
“This year’s survey has been expanded to gather a broader and deeper scope of data from companies spanning the entire sales and service channel,” said TMA Executive Director Celia T. Besore. “Our goal is to publish a robust reporting of current compensation and benefits for key positions that will serve as a valuable reference and resource for security industry companies in their hiring process.”
The survey seeks compensation and benefits information for these areas of responsibility: executive and operational management; monitoring center; office support; sales and marketing; dealer and customer support; and IT and telecom services.
The survey can be reached from the TMA website homepage at www.tma.us. The deadline for completion is Friday, Feb. 28, 2020.
