The security industry looks to the SDM 100 — a group of the 100 largest security companies ranked by their recurring monthly revenue (RMR) — as a wellspring of industry trends and operational best practices. So, which manufacturers and distributors are behind the SDM 100, supporting them with the products, solutions and services that help make them successful?

Dynamark Security Centers signed a strategic agreement with National Network Group (NNG), of Pittsburgh, Penn. This innovative alliance provides Dynamark security dealers with creative new methods of driving business and brings increased members to the fast growing NNG list of premiere security integration companies.

Regionally based Priority One Security, ranked No. 42 on the SDM 100, has successfully executed the acquisition and merger of Fleetwood Security. Fleetwood Security is based in Cartersville, Ga. It has been operated by Billy Fleetwood and the Fleetwood family members. For more than 20 years Fleetwood Security has provided residential and commercial integrated security solutions to the Atlanta metropolitan areas. 

SDM recently spoke with Richard Ginsburg, president and CEO of Central Security Group (CSG), Tulsa, Okla., a company that is ranked No. 9 on the SDM 100 Report for 2018. Ginsburg refers to CSG as the largest security company you hear from the least often, and that’s with good reason, SDM found. The company, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, is laser-focused on providing the best customer experience possible to end users, along with consistent and reliable performance. 

Per Mar Security Services, a provider of total security solutions for residential and commercial clients based in Davenport, Iowa, received Honeywell Platinum Authorized Dealer status for 2018. The award states certification in all aspects of sales and service of the complete product line of Honeywell Security and Fire products. 

Jenne Inc., a value-added technology distributor, has been named by Comm-Core as its newest distribution partner. Jenne will distribute Comm-Core’s line of interactive security monitoring services and state-of-the-art video surveillance solution.

Cypress Founder and Chief Technology Officer Tony Diodato has been named co-chair of the OSDP Working Group, along with Steve Rogers, president of IQ Devices.
