 Tyco SimplexGrinnell received the Internet of Things (IoT) Innovator of the Year Award for 2014 from Axeda Corporation. The award recognizes the company for excellence in leveraging advanced Internet-connected technology to deliver smart eService fire alarm solutions that improve service delivery and provide significant value to customers. 

The 2014 Central Station of the Year winner is COPS Monitoring, which is Five Diamond and IQ certified, as well as the holder of multiple UL listings including UL 2050. COPS Monitoring operates five hot redundant and load-sharing UL-listed central stations.

Regardless of the basis on which cloud storage is charged for, remembering the basic model is perhaps the most important factor.

 COPS Monitoring Vice President of Special Projects Maria Malice will join Morgan Hertel as co-chair of the CSAA Contract Monitoring Council. The co-chair position was previously held by COPS executive vice president Don Maden. 

 Intermedia announced today that Hosted PBX, its cloud-based voice service, will now be available as a new offering at ADI locations across the United States. Designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, Intermedia’s Hosted PBX phone service will allow ADI dealers to sell a cloud-based phone service on a per-seat basis.

ISSC ranks high among local security companies, operating in a wide range of vertical business market segments in the greater Houston area.

This month's digital shuffle focuses on mobile friendly websites and re-designed sites for easier navigation.

Attendees were educated on the 350 new features, two mobile applications, add-on modules, and a new graphical user interface for its software, staying with the theme of how the new additions could help optimize overall workflow efficiency.

The system was designed to simplify the deployment and maintenance of mobile LPR systems, primarily for municipal and university parking authorities, as well as police departments with LPR-enabled vehicles.
